Information this website collects
When you use the enquiry form, the information you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, area of interest and message, is sent to Dan by email through FormSubmit. The website does not keep a separate copy of the submission. FormSubmit processes the information to deliver the message and operates under its own privacy terms. You may instead contact Dan directly by email.
The website does not use advertising trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides privacy-focused, cookie-free statistics about visits, page views, referring websites, approximate location, device type and website performance. Hosting, security and form-delivery providers may process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser information and request logs, where necessary to operate, secure and diagnose their services.
Why information is used
Anonymous website statistics are used to understand how the site is found and used, assess its performance and improve its content. Email information is used to respond to enquiries, discuss talks, workshops, training or organisational work, and take requested steps before entering a professional engagement. Limited technical information may be processed for the legitimate interests of maintaining, understanding and improving the security, availability and usefulness of the website.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage any resulting professional relationship, maintain appropriate business records and meet applicable legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.
Who information may be shared with
Information is not sold. It may be processed by service providers that support form delivery, email, website hosting, security and privacy-focused analytics, including FormSubmit and Cloudflare, or disclosed where required by law. Providers are given access only where necessary for their services.
